Not so great on the pauses, but doubled my reps compared to last weeks 500x2. Definitely getting more comfortable handling heavier weights. Thinking it’s almost time to give some low bar squats a try in the near future. Based on this set, my low bar squat w/a belt should be somewhere over 700lbs. So I’ll probably start looking to organize my technique and getting mobility work heavily integrated into my training or I won’t even be able to low bar squat w/out brutal shoulder/elbow pain.

Other highlight of the workout was a 20 min EMOM on kettlebell swings. First 5 was with the 203x5, second 5 was with the 175 bell for 6, third 5 was with the 150 bell for 8, and the last 5 was with the 126 for 8. The video is the 5th minute using the 203 bell. Not perfect and definitely want to continue improving the form on these especially with the 203 but my main focus is here is to almost make these like dynamic effort sumo pulls. The stance I take on these is very similar to my sumo stance. The posterior chain pump was pretty outrageous after the 20 minutes🍑

Tested my Bench Strength today and was disappointed to gain only 5 lbs Strength in 3 months, lifting 250 lbs.

With cheating rep - bounce and  hips movement and some spot I was able to get 265 which I don't count.

My bench has been my weakest lift. And next 3-month phase I will be doing more work to increase bottom strength.

I haven't been able to do dips for past few months because my left wrist has been in pain. Got to fix that as well.

First time doing 435 ever and it was a smooth double. Squats are coming along nicely. 
255x1 bench
First time attempting 255 and I thought I could have done it for a double. The 245 I did before felt really good and I probably should have had that be my top set but I thought I had it for a double. The first set was a little miss groove and the second just wasn't there. Would have only attempted the second with the safeties up though . But that's still a PR on bench but just not what I needed to do for the day. I'll hit this sooner than later. 🎥 @tonyjsudol

Barbell Row 315 x 6 (3 reps, 3 forced), T-Bar row (close-grip handle) 315 (6-plates) for 1 rep and 3 forced, 315 T-Bar row (wide grip variation) for reps and forces, 225 x 12 wide-grip T-bar Row, and 310 x 8 on Terry Long rows!! Form was not the greatest on some, but wanted a challenge and not back down!! Lateral deceleration and change of direction can be tough skills to pick up, but are extremely important for sport. The ability to change directions quickly and efficiently can be the difference between making the play and not making the play.

You can see @m1nn0 demonstrating some really good technique as he changes directions while shuffling. There are three things he does really well in this video. 
_
1️⃣ is that when he starts his change of direction he goes into a “hockey stop” position. This allows him to put his foot into the ground and change directions quickly. 
_
2️⃣ The foot that he is cutting off of is staying square and is not turning out. This allows him to have a solid plant and drive.
_
3️⃣ He does a good job of staying low and keeps his chest up. Which allows him to stay in the optimal athletic position.
